Insomnia induced by trauma is not something that is talked about enough. If you suffer from insomnia, meds or something else is introduced.
I try to make myself extremely tired so I can get at least 3 or 4 hours of sleep. Some days, a few hours during the day is all I can manage.
Laying awake for hours now.
Heard a noise, so I turned the light on. (the TV stays on because of my fear)
I've now been up since yesterday morning. 😞
There are hundreds of remedies for sleep.
None of that matters when closing your eyes scares the shit out of you.
And you judge us for trying to find peace..... 😒
