Black and Brown people live in a state of psychological warfare. We have to constantly be on guard.

Black and Brown people with mental illnesses live in a state of darkness and unrest.

We don't have the option of putting the world aside while we work on our health.

We don't have access to quality psychological care.

We are constantly being hunted.

We are always feeling the pain of our past and present racial injustices.

We are constantly mourning the loss of bodies and freedoms.

We are always cleaning up the blood that soaks our souls.

Being Black and Brown is turmoil.

Being Black, Brown, and mentally challenged is hell.
